*** October

is a generous month with gifts from the bounty of the harvest

Not all of us celebrate Halloween,
but having the courage to embrace life
with joyous unrestrain
is certainly
something to celebrate

 Do something completely
unexpected that lifts your spirit

  9. Funny how Halloween starts a whole season of festivities, yet I tend to think of it as a last-hurrah party.

  11. Love the photos and the message. Every now and then, it's necessary to step out of the everyday ordinary and go for it. Otherwise, how can you embrace life?

  19. You might say we celebrate Halloween

Our plan is to be on a sober "Halloween" cruise
beginning Oct. 30...ten days. On the big ship OASIS. Imagine 10 days at sea without drinking alcohol!

Love your ideas of doing 'unique' decor, partying, etc. Halloween traditionally for me has been for the young Peeps, maybe I've been here too many years. But I do LOVE to see the children's eyes light up--almost like Christmas morning glow!

    Bye for now
    Steve

  22. In Poland we don't celebrate this holiday, our holiday is on the 1st of November when we visit cemeteries, so it is rather a sad holiday. I love however the pumpkins!
