East of the Sun-West of the Moon

A sudden rain shower

Makes the streets look
like mirrored strips

glittering in
the dawning sky

it takes your
breath away

just to start
the day.

  5. Hi, Joanny -- I'm back, and I love seeing your post. That first photo is so beautiful. I'm intrigued by the idea of this whole Sunday 160 challenge -- I just don't know if I've got the skills to do it. (Let me give this some thought.) In the meantime, it's good to be back.
    Kisses,
    Rick

  10. I love the rain, especially when images reflect in the puddles. Then, I stomp in them and I feel like the buildings are absorbed in the rain.

  12. Great 160, my dear Joanny,

I feel like quoting every single line...
Beginning from that amazing title which makes us all so vulnerable, as we have a look from down here in our little world... and those last words restating that this is just a beautiful world- and not everyone (I'd say only you) can get to utter words this way so as to describe it...and etc :-)

    Just lovely ----- sigh

  14. "mirrored steps" Liked that phrase.

The starting of the day depends on how the day will be. I wish everyday is filled with beauty for you.

    Joy always,
    Susan
