Both photos were Pamukkale meaning Cotton Castles in Turkish  and it is a real place to visit and very magical, overlooking a lush green valley of Turkey's Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley, which has a temperate climate for most of the year, where people go to sit in the pools of hot water.  This is such a beautiful place to learn more about it and see other photos go here to wikipedia.
